It should go higher. If I remember right the stock gearing hits rev limiter at 138.
I've had my car past 120 once like 5 years ago. It scared me and I havn't done it since. Ah, being young and stupid.
There is no speed limiter though on a PM6 that I know of.

I took my 88 crx with a sohc zc and a dx tranny running a pm6 ecu to 115mph one time and i think it was at about 5000-5500 rpms. I was actually quite suprised at how stable the car was at those speeds

This is about true.
Try getting a stock motor to hit rev limit in 5th. It aint gonna happen unless you are going downhill. Too much wind resistance. Ive tried, and it scared the **** out of me as well.

Did I say rev limit? I meant redline. And I could be wrong. IIRC the stock speedo on an Si only goes to 120, right?
My tranny was also sitting at 250K original miles at this point as well.

I was at 125 or so at 6k......so....I guess it could have gone faster, if a hill were provided...fresh motor too.....
Who knows how accurate the tach and speedo are up there as well.....
