2 things - Aren't best questions either, so please don't flame

Fuel economy, and emissions...does a header have big changes on either one of these, and if yes, how much? Do the pros outway the cons in this case?

i didnt notice a change with ethire.
still get a consistant 27mpg in the city with header
and i breezed through emissions. even got complimented on the engine

 

Mine actually helped me a lil..Dont' know why though..I guess its because it helped free things up..Make it more efficiant (sp)

 

tell me if im wrong, but im preaty sure that the head will help in small ways. a better flowing header should increase hp and torque. this will let u attain the same speed but at a lower rpm because of the increase in hp and tq. this in turn will help the gas milage. overall though it won't matter that much. emissions i don't know about, cause we don't have to succomb to those tests . god i love hick country! yehaw!!!!

 

...yeah, I don't know too much about em either, but I was thinking, if more gas is flowing, isn't it drinking more of it....faster?

 

Mine went up on highway, down in city(but maybe I gas it around more with a new exhaust)

 

My comptech header has the CARB EO on a little plate right on the header. If its legal in California, its legal just about anywhere.
