Default OBD0-OBD1 Conversion Harness Questions

Hey guys, I just picked up a 90 civic si and a b16 swap for it. I was wondering if any of you had and experience with some of the cheaper(ebay) conversion harnesses? Had any success with them? I dont know if I trust an ebay obd conversion harness. Also, I have a p28 laying around. Can I use it as is, or does it have to be chipped? Thanks in advance.

wasnt really a response to his question... but this is the best post so far from you

i would rather trust wiring to the professionals or go through a quality store to get it, rather than ebay... and rywire.com is your friend

have chipped p28 from a shop cuz it does not plug and play. If you can't find a shop or tuning place. Find a pr3 or pw0.

ef civic or crx si =obd0 same as 1st gen b16a
eg civic si = obd1 same as 2nd gen b16a
obd0 uses the resistor box and obd1 does not incorporate the resistor box. And i do know what i am talking about. good luck boosted wagon

Dude shut the fukc up You have no clue what the hell your talkin about. An EG harness is not even close to an EF harness. The only thing that he needs to do to convert his harness to OBD1 is change the distributor plug and maby get rid of the resistor box if he is using OBD1 injectors. Either way as he had said in a previous post that all done he just needs an OBD1 ECU to run it.

I have a few friends that have gone with the E bay harness with out any problems, and I've just recently built one for another friend (if you need one done let me know). The P28 will plug in and work just fine as long as its's not an auto ECU.
