what is the thread size for new oil passage?LS/VTEC

Hey guys....You know the new oil port that you're supposed to run the new oil delivery to in an LS/VTEC? What size is it? I people keep telling me that it's 3/8"NPT, but I've tried like 3 different 3/8"NPT fitting snad it deels like it's gonna strip out the threads...Are you guys sure it's not something else?

It's not NPT, It's BSPT.

You can get BSPT fittings at http://www.z10eng.com They are cheap and you don't have to tap the block to NPT. I have the 1/8 NPT to 1/8 BSPT fitting and am very atisfied with it. Fit like a charm. HTH.
