the system locks the doors but wont unlock.. i cant figure out why. maybe someone in here can help? is the 451 module broken or did i wire something wrong?

The unlock wire is shorted probably in the door. I troubleshot 3 or so cars and that was the problem. Lock works fine when the unlock wire is shorted (ground, short, same difference). But when you hit unlock, the system tries to send 12v down the shorted wire, it just goes right into the door to ground.

honda civic hatchback 1988.. i added actuators. i have the purple going to a constant 12v and the brown and white are grounded and the blue and green go to the actuators. i think the 451m relay is bad?

 

I have about six hundred 451m relay packs laying around at work. I'm willing to bet one of them (you pay shipping) that one of your actuator wires is shorting out at least intermittently.
