well its been a long time since ive posted.
ive been having some problems with the r in the past two weeks.
here's some info, first i noticed when starting the car there would be a slight squeak, which im sure is the throwout bearing. so i had the tranny flushed, and the car drove home great. but that same day the car would not go into gear. i checked the fluids and the smaller resevoir was completly empty so i topped it off hoping this would solve the problem. but now im noticing the pedal feel from the clutch with the car off is effortless. so i think its the clutch. i havent driven the car in a couple days just to not make matters worse.
some info on the car.... 01 itr only one owner(me) stock block and tranny with mugen intake header and exhaust..and 57k any help or advice would be much appreciated. oh and i do not race the car, or beat on it daily....thanks in advance...miles

since it sounds like your clutch resoviour got so low it might be possible that air got into the clutch lines, first would be to bleed the clutch which is a 5 min job for a mechanic or yourself + buddy.
see if that helps

that was another possibility i thought about, after i topped it off i tried pumping the clutch to try to get the fluid running again. so if i bleed the clutch all new fluid would be a good idea right? ive never done that before. thanks
wont matter to much about the fluid new-ness but why not..
1.get a buddy to sit in the car.. pump the clutch 10x then hold to the floor (until completion of step 2)
2.you- get a 8mm? spanner and once the pedal is held to the floor open the little nipple on the clutch slave? on the front of the gearbox. let all the bubbles an fluid come out then once there is no more shut the nipple off.
3. repeat step 1 about 5 times or more the better. just dont let the master cylinder run lower than minimum fluid level.
the air bubbles and liquid will come out, you will want a small tube an container to catch it. similar to bleeding brakes, have a google its really basic
