Looking for part numbers for the following parts:

. shift linkage 8x22m spring
. 3 self-locking bolts for transmission mounts (Helms recommends replacing these when reinstalling transmission)

if you're just droping the tranny, (1) you dont need to pull your axels, if you do for some other reason, you really don't need a replacement nut. can be reused.

replace locking bolts for tranny? screw that. re-use.

I see. I think I may have misread the Helms - or perhaps it goes too far.

Does that mean that I do not have to screw around with separating the ball joint too?

Do the drive shaft set rings need to be replaced as per the Helms is is that also overkill?

Does that mean that I do not have to screw around with separating the ball joint too? You still have to seperate the lower BJ.

Do the drive shaft set rings need to be replaced as per the Helms is is that also overkill? Overkill.

Thanks for all the help, guys.

Like Steve said, only out of the tranny.

As for the lower ball joint, do it the we-todd way and you can drink beer and put virtually no effort into seperating the lower bj (and do it quickly)..
