Default What kind of key chain do you have for your bike keys?

Or are the keys for your bike on the rest of your keys? I want to get a key chain for my bike that is separate from all my other keys since i have like 10 keys on my "normal" key chain.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I have all my key's separate on a key ring for a couple reasons. I use to just keep them all together then i noticed when i was riding it some of my other keys was swinging around and hitting on triple tree thus having little marks on it. Same with car i have seen that people who have alot of keys on a keyring the ignition over time goes out i guess from the extra weight. Also if i loose my keys i dont want to loose everything.

I have a separate keychain for the bike key for the same reason stated above, I don't want any uneccessary keys swinging around and scratching my ish up. Also, my bike keychain holder also is an earplug holder FTW!

My bike key is all by its lonesome, the 748s ignition is surrounded by the gas tank so if I have anything else on there it may scratch the gas tank.

ive got my keyring with about 6 keys on it, then a clip attached for my bike key, so i remove the clip and just put that in when i take the bike. that way all keys are always together, unless im using em.

(edit) and actually thats how i baught the bike, when the guy gave me the keys he gave me the clip too so i just kept it.

I have a OEM Honda "H" (as in the car badge) as my key chain. I got it with my car and I just put it on the bike so I'd have sometime. I keep my bike key separate from the rest of my keys.

Not really, since I got it for free at an Indy race I went to last year. But it is pretty damn handy!

All mine are on the same key ring. Tripple tree be damned!

If you're really worried about scratching up your tripples, just buy one of those cheap knockoff carbon fiber cover plates.

Mine are on just a regular ol' plain keyring. No fancy charms or tags like Mag00n or Pauldo. Just the keys. On a ring.

I put my key in the ignition, turn it to ON, start up the bike, then take the key out and put it back in my pocket.

Quirky (ok, semi-busted) ignition lock.

That's ok, when I first got my bike I had to start it with a screwdriver

Someone tried to steal it from the previous owner but they caught the would-be thief in the act and he bailed. But the ignition was popped so I had to buy a used gauge pod and salvage the ignition switch. The tach was busted too so it worked out, I swapped that too. And a few of the light bulbs.
