99-00 Civic Retrofit.
Hey whats up honda-tech members...I have a couple of questions about retro fit for the 99-00 civic. I was wondering if anyone ever had theirs done by customlightz.com I heard they were really good. But what i really want to know is
what is the total price for everything. I can get the headlight but i want to know how much is it for labor and parts from them. So if anyone who can help please reply. The setup i want to do is the s2000 projector with the custom shroud. The one i saw on the site was a all black housing setup. I also want to know if i can use my h4 hid setup. Cause right now I got h4 HIDs kit in my car, its the slim one too. And also is there any way i can still use that setup cause i know the s2000 is a ds2 kit i think...not sure...if anyone can help...thanks in advance.

You can't use your PNP kit over to a retrofit.
You'll need,
- Projectors
- Bulbs
- Ballasts
- Harness
- Shrouds (they're optional, mostly used for appearance reasons)
They can provide everything above or you can buy it on your own and send it to them. As far as pricing, you should send them a detailed e-mail and go from there. Rich and Bjorn are good people as I've got fast and honest responds from them. I got most of the info I need from them and awaiting on some parts in order to send it their way.
While you wait for their respond, I suggest you check out http://www.hidplanet.com
A lot of good info on that forum.
Good luck

in regards to your HID kit, you can actually use it, you would just have to purchase D2S or D2R (depending on the retrofit you do) bulb with a connector that would connect to your old HID kit. Makes the rest of the retrofit easier.

I believe you can find D2 adapter harnesses, which will allow a standard D2S bulb (not an aftermarket re-based HID bulb) to attach to the + and - leads of an aftermarket HID kit's ballast or igniter. So you would need a pair of those adapter harnesses and 2 new D2S bulbs (buy ONLY brand new, NEVER buy used bulbs), along with your projectors, etc.
