Default jacket for tall rider?

i'm having trouble finding a jacket that fits me right. i'm a fairly skinny 6'6, but have really broad shoulders and long arms. most of the jackets i've tried on are either too short in the torso, too short in the arms, or way too tight in the shoulders (the biggest problem really). anyone know of any companies that make a tall cut jacket? i'm looking for a leather non perforated one at the moment. preferably simple and black. thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, when they design gear, they don't design it for basketball and football players. Your sure thing would be a custom jacket. They're both very well respected. Plus they're not much more than a lot of off the shelf jackets and these are better quality.

Z and Vanson are not the only custom leather makers. I believe Kushitani (beaucoup bucks) and Syed, as well as several others, also offer custom services. The main benefit to finding someone local is they can usually repair any damage (God forbid) to your suit/jacket.

Or, you can find a jacket that is almost right, and get a custom-suit-company to tailor it. In the end, you'd probably spend close to the amount for a jacket from the company.

Black is so boring. I think some hot pink would go great.

I bought a $750 jacket and spent another $100 tailoring it. Damn brand name *****. Anyways, average price of a jacket is about $300-$400. What's another $100 for a custom jacket?

not sure if u like the tour jackets, but my dad got a tourmaster jacket that comes down pretty far, and most dealers carry them for a decent price. i like it better than my agv. by the way im like 6'4 6'5ish and about 225 and i dont have many problems with most xl/xxl jackets. joe rockets tend to have really long arms

Custom all the way! You'll love the way it feels once you break it in.
