I was down at Englishtown today in NJ for the fall nationals. I went in at 1 p.m. and came out at 2:30 p.m. I could see my car from the opposite side of the track in the lot surrounded by my friends cars.

When I went out to leave I hit the unlock button from a good 30 feet away and it beeped like it wasn't reaching the car. I waited another 20 steps and hit it again... and walked into an empty parking spot where my car was with my keys in my hand. MY alarm never went off!!! No one saw anything. Police report and insruacen claim have been filed! The car is marked in NY,NJ and PA as a stolen car!

The plate number is NY: DTW 9768

Wow man - now im truely pissed I'm willing to bet you were being watched ever since you posted your R for sale. Hope everything ends well. It truely breaks my heart knowing some thieves will tear this car apart.

I know ALOT of people in the northeast. I'm already spreading the word. 99% sure its somewhere in New Jersey (No brainer I know) but theft is really bad in that area and I'm sure the parts will start popping up for sale so keep an eye on it.

 

marked, as in it's in the computer systems as a stolen vechile under my license plates.

i have not one doubt in my mind that the car is in nj or nyc

damn man and you jes got that caR i hope you get it back.........im really surprised tho that you would of driven you R down there didnt you hear 13 cars got stolen on honda day????? english town is bad new well ill try find out if any one knows anything. if i was you i would check on b20vtec and on urbanracer thats where they would sell most of the parts if its already stripped which i hope it aint because thats to many fallen R's

Just the other day someone was selling an armrest and seats from New Jersey/New York area in HOndamarket place and a few guys from the ITR community quickly questioned where he got the parts. He never gave a straight answer and have no clue whatever happened to him. Shady

 

Dan Im sorry to see this...you know Sonny was right" The working man is a sucker". We bust our A$$ making a living and some piece of $hit comes along and takes what we work hard for. Scumbags! Thats all Im saying. Sometimes things work in mysterious ways...keep your faith for as long as you can and maybe it will be found. God....YOUR car got stolen, and my heart aches!

sad to hear the news. my neighbor had a pyr which was stolen twice, first time was at work & recovered with lo-jack before anything got taken. second time, even though he was blocked in, his pyr was dragged accross the lawn at his house when he was sleeping. this time, there was nothing left but the shell. *sigh* i'm sensing a trend (or pattern) here, i seen many threads of rides getting stolen @ englishtown. this further makes me hate thieves. i'm almost confident it's the same bunch of clowns casing the lots. hope the cops nab those bastards. i hope the insurance company cuts a check for you soon. i am sorry about your loss

Oh no that sucks man. YOu just cant take your ITR anywhere now a days. Unless your practically standing next to it. Fawking thieves suck *****.

 

Its a toy store for thieves. Same with Nopi - over 100 cars are stolen within the few day event.

Spoon ITR, any word from your insurance on how they are dealing with it? Keep in mind our cars were pretty much identical in looks/condition etc, so you can always use my for sale thread from my 98 ITR as a good reference to get an amount you deserve.
