p28 red line at 6400???

Default p28 red line at 6400???

ok so i got a p28 in my single cam. DD. dont drive the car hard.. red lined it today and it topped out at 6400 what could be the problem i thought 7ish was red line.. and ideas.

that's sounds about right for a 5th gen civic, but my 97 civic ex coupe redlines just at 7k

if its the d16z6 ( i dont know what engines the the p28 goes in) it should redline at 7200 with the rev limiter right around there. is it an auto or manual, as i know some automatic trannys will shift before redline

umm well my cel is on tho, does it kick back the redline until i fix my cel problem ?
