What to do about this damn bolt...
So I'm trying to change my brake pads on my 2000 yamaha yzf600r and these bolts that connect the caliper to the fork won't budge at all. I've sprayed on PB blaster, used different tools and leverage points but the bolt won't move at all... My 12 mm socket broke
So should I bring it to the stealership and let them handle it or can I bring it to some other place like a locksmith, after all I just need to loosen those bolts, I can take care of the rest.

Is PB blaster like WD40?
For bike parts such as calipers, they are usually installed using Loc-Tite or a similar product. This keeps it from backing itself out from the vibrations. It also makes it a real bitch to uninstall/remove at a later time.
Did you try using a longer ratchet to put more muscle on it?

Yes pb blaster is like wd40, suppose to be better actually. I did try using a longer ratchet, which lead to the socket breaking. I tried using a open end wrench, and that started to bend while the bolt didn't move at all. When I put more muscle into it, I can feel the bolt starting to strip.

What kind of bolt is it. </TD></TR></TABLE>
it's a 12 mm hex bolt, probably 2 inches long
