Default 07 Civic Premium Audio and DRM

Made copies of 4 of my CD's using Window Media Player and then copied to new CD's using WMA format. Tried to play in Honda Premium Sound System and it would not play. Said format not supported as a result or Digital Rights Management (DRM). Hey these are my CD's! Can I turn this feature off?

personally I've only used one 'real' CD. I rip all of mine immediately and store them to prevent damage so as to always have a hard copy.

Chances are it is the program, not the car. My 07 EX is perfectly fine with them.

Thats the settings for I-tunes. I used to be a die hard WMP user til the upgrade. i-tunes works well enough

Try to lower the bit-rate on the WMA files.

Thanks for your response. Forgot to mention that I have a lot of tunes on windows media player, scrambled and ranked, so I probably have to use this software? Also, used loss less wma compression.

Thats your problem. The Civic can not read lossless mp3s. The max bitrate they can read is 320mbs if im not mistaken.

• Nero
• iTunes

Wrong. Its the bit-rate. Besides, since he uses wma-lossless, he can't use itunes.

To help avoid re-riping you CDs. Go to options and tell it when you burn data CD's to burn the music at bitrate of 192.
