Default 2006 Civic EX MP3 CD Player Skipping

Hi, so is anyone else having this problem? I burned a bunch of my music onto a CD, tried to play it, and random songs will be virtually unplayable because they continuous skip around. I looked up the manual and it pretty much says that the quality has to be at or under 192kbps. So the problem can explain some of my 320kbps music, but others that are only 128kbps skip around too. More testing has to be done but it can be the stereo, the CD-Rs, or the mp3s. Thx in advance.

If you are burning the cd faster than 36x, then it is going to skip.

its the cd. try buying a better brand blank cd and burn it. i have 256 quality on some of my mp3s and they work great. also i had a program that didnt know how to burn normal cds and it often was skippng and used NERO from that point on and ive had zero problems. sonic works great also.

Yeah I'm using Nero, but I burned it on the fastest setting. I'll try it on the slowest. Brand is TDK...I'm not sure what the rank of quality of CD-Rs are. Thx for the replies though.

I am having the same problems with my mp3 cds. I have had other cds made for me too though and they do the same. I don't think it is the cds.
