door lock problem
so my door lokdoesnt unlock when i push the switch on my door panel, thought it was the door lock control in the door but i changed it and it wasnt that...the dirvers side unlocks/locks fine but the passenger side doesnt work at all...is there a fuse somewhere for the passenger side? thanks!
Fuses for the door lock are drivers side under dash if that doesnt work take the door card off and have a look at the mechanism see if its damaged or worn
While we're on the subject, sometimes my driver's door doesn't lock or unlock with the remote. I looked at the manual switch and it seems to get stuck halfway through its travel and resists being pushed on. Where should I start? By the way, '00 Civic Si.

there is only 1 fuse for the locks, id say youve either got a wiring problem or the actuator itself may have gone out. you can test continuity from the actuator to the control box to test your wiring.

Oh, right, I didn't try that...Why isn't there a "rolls-eyes" smiley?
Anyway, when the door is closed as you would normally do when locking the car, I hit the button on the remote to set the alarm and lock the doors. However, sometimes the driver's door refuses to lock. It seems to just be getting stuck through it's travel.

you might be suprised on how many times that "issue" has come up before.
when youre inside the car do you feel any sort of drag or hesitation if you manually move the lock lever?

how do i check for it? well originally i thought it was the door lock control behind the door panel...so i bought one and its still doing the same thing...the drivers side door works but the passenger doesnt...however i replaced the door handles in the inside because they were all messed up but it worked fine after i replaced them...not sure which wires go to the pass. side and which go to the drivers....
