hey guys, i need some help... today, i went over to the kids house where the insurance comapny is going to pick up my car in a few days.... when i got there, they were swapping my interior for a gsr's, had my valve cover off, and a bunch of other ****... i told them to stop.. and that the insurance company will want everything the way it was, and i was selling the car as whole not parts... well, i went back to work, came back on next break an hour later and the car has a full gsr interior, missing cams, orange turnsignal taillights, ecu is gone, shift *** gone, etc etc.... i called the kid up, being very upset, and he said he thought hed try to make some money for me... after i told him not too! well, he claimed he put everything back, and i checked, and dont think he put in right cams, injectors, wires, battery, my strut and sway bars gone.., etc etc.... Im going to get the pictures of under the hood developed tonite and hopefully on here tonite... can you guys please post pictures of these items, injectors, cams, etc etc that i said... THANKS again guys, maybe we can save another R =|... thanks...

Everyone is confused because you didn't state why the car was at some "kids" house.

Also, if they are taking stuff from the car without your permission and you are the onwer still, call the cops.

If the car belongs to the insurance company already, call your insurance company.

ok i'm lost. i 'think' what you're saying is that someone you know is storing your car until insurance pics it up and has swapped a bunch of gsr stuff in? i would be VERY careful, if insurance catches a wiff of this they're gonna screw you. tell the kid that the extra cash he thinks he's gonna make you isnt worth the chance of being found guilty of Fraud....

my take: car is at the bodyshop and has been a loss. Sooo, the peeps who work at the body shop, or their friends, are going to work on his car and taking anything valuable before it`s picked up.

OK guys, sorry ill clear things up a lil, im just still REALLY upset right now... The night of the accident, the kid was driving by, and called my cell (i was 2 hours away at college orientation)... then i had my supercharger on, and obviously im not going to leave it on the vehicle. he talked to my parents and had it towed to his house (5 mins from mine). we took it all off a week or so later, and all other aftermarket parts on the vehicle, and put back the stock ones (intake, exhaust, etc). well, yestterday, i told him the insurance comapny might come to pick it up tomorrow (today), and that there were several people considering buying the car, but i wasnt parting it out. ANyways, today i had swim lessons, and i went over there around noon to take pics for you guys (always lookin out for HT boyz)... him and another kid were there... my valve cover was off, and i could see his eyes glowing on the cams, and my interior was out... the kid had his gsr interior for the switch and said hed give me a couple hundered and insurance woundt know... i told him no, and we wanted to just get rid of it, so put everything back inside, and put valve cover back on (he said he was just "lookin" at the beautiful type r engine)... i then had to go back to work, all upset and everything, i had my buddies write down all 4 county sherriff departments around (since he lives between several counties).... i went back to his house in an hour and everything was gone.. i had a gsr interior, cams gone, battery siwtched, taillights, bars, ecu, wires, injectors, all gone i was so pissed, and i took pictures of everything cuz i knew this might get dirty... anyways, he called me back several hours later and said he had everyhting back in, and hed get it all done by tonite, i stayed over there for 3 hours and watched him swap seats back (sitll waint on door panels, ecu, shiftknow, etc ) and told him how pissed i was, and legal situation... he offered 3 grand to buy it and i told him no, i wanteed to give it to insurance.... so supposdly hes putting eveyrhting back in, i took my badge as a memory, but there is still a lot missin... im going back later tonite, and tomorrow morning... i am sooo upset and i thought i could trust this kid, but never trust anyone with your baby .... plez leave only helpful posts gusy, im in the worst mood right now... thanks
