Since we have a nice 3 day weekend me and the wifee went to san fran just to see somethings. Little did we know it was like a navy weekend and they had like 2 naval ships docked plus the blue angels were doing a crazy air show all along the pier and aroudn the golden gate. There were a ton of people with crazy lens on pier 39 by the sealions shooting pics so I'm hopin somebody from this forum was there post pics if you got em

Just read about it as I'm planning on taking a trip to that area this month. Is it usually pretty crowded there, or is it easy to get around?

 

man it was insanely crowded thank god we decided to take the frary from vallejo to san fran because parking would've been a nightmare.

bump for pics, I woulda snap some too if I didn't forget my camara lol. Looking for parking was crazy yesterday had to park 15 blocks away from the pier lol, and currently I can hear the blue angels flying over my house right now

those are some awesome pics what kind of lens were you using? i always get excited when i see or hear about them

 

was using a canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS. They were in town the day before i was leaving for a photo job and just wanted to go out and see what i could get.

I should have edited them but was just too lazy and ended up just resizing them.

 

blue angels are definitely the **** im going to miss them this year here in San Diego... but the Thunderbirds are coming sooo that makes up for it
