Default Noob from Houston. My intro & my s2k pics....

Hi guys my name is Alex,23yrs old from Houston TX.I have had my s2k for like 3 years now.I kept it stock for a long time till this last year I went a little wild.It was originally new formula red. Then it got keyed in a parking lot so I got the whole thing repainted. Here goes some pics of its progress. Some of you may have already seen it elsewere.

Some of my 1st mods were 18in. Advan Ver.2's and tein coilovers...

Then i threw a kit on it and got it painted green also added a Mugen hardtop & Bride ergo II's + countless other crap....

Decided I was gonna boost so I went with a full custom kit. Here is a super early pic.Just kinda threw it together so it could make it to get tuned....

Paint had damage from being from shop to shop so why not paint it white diamond pearl?....

Also threw in more wheels and another top on for fun....

And after cleaning up the engine bay/turbo setup like crazy I threw some real bling on it by getting stuff dipped in real gold....

Here she sits now.Beat up looking with new surprises coming up.New hardtop,etc...

Here goes the new wheels...

After all this im really just hoping to get it over with soon.Im tired of modding this car honestly.lol.I enjoy watching others mod now.I plan on selling the car sometime next year to make room for a new project.Hopefully it sells because I really want an R33.Either that or I will use the $ as an investment since I am getting older!

With fresh air passing through that portion of the turbocharger, and water/oil passing through the cartridge I doubt the gold plating is exposed to much higher than the oil and water coolant temp that the rest of the engine experiences.

What the hell!!!! How rich are you??? If you have enough money to dip parts of your car in gold, paint every other day, and change rims more often than sneakers, then you should send me the car/parts for free im poor and love charity.

Great car

Makes me feel like my car S is a piece of crap!

yeah i figured since it was the cold side it could be possible..but even the valve cover gets pretty hot. If it works then

Thanks for the replies guys.I dont have a crazy job really.Im just the decision maker @ my family's business.Im the youngest yet they let me decide all kinds of crap.lol.

I really miss my advans out of all my wheels.I will most def. buy another set in the future. This new set is more than aggressive coming in at 18x9 F and 18x10.5 Rear!!As for the gold on the engine parts, its still on there! Hasn't melted or anything like that. There is like 2-3 undercoatings before the actual gold goes on so that might have something to do with it.

BLANCOh22a4 - I have changed the paint several times because well...why not? If you can do it then go for it.I have also have as many wheels & hardtops as paint jobs.

JG Fab - haha! I knew you would like those custom made pieces.Topmount tubular ftw!

Is that mint green color from the Acura Legend or what? Since it's no longer on your car, you should have no problems sharing, yes?

No that green was based off some other car before the bodyshop added some little extra hints to it.Its more close to Lexus es330 green.

Ok, well...I think that was my favorite color for the car. BTW, I added you on myspace, in case you get to it and are like, "who the eff is this clown?"

Nice car, though. I can't wait to see the latst upgrades.
