Default Intake Manifold Support Bracket

i am in the process of replaceing my head gasket and realized i either have to take of my intake manifold from the head to remove it or pull off the head with the manifold.....(?#1) which would be the better way to go???

Also if i remove the head with the intake manifold i have to undo the support bracket underneath the manifold...(?#2) would it be good, bad, or indifferent if i remove the support bracket completely {weight reduction of like 0.000000005 lb } i know it pointless but i basically need to kno if the bracket is nessecary????????????

i'd keep it on there. its not worth it you will have to buy a new gasket and could possibly mess something up

take off your bracket and leave the intake manifold on the head. the bracket is pretty easy to take off i tihnk its 3 or 4 bolts
