Default Exhaust

Do any of you run the invidia exhaust? I saw a video of it on youtube and it sounded bad-***! Now I have a few qustions.

1. Is it a daul exhaust?
2. What does it cost?
3. How much did you pay?
4. How hard is it to install? Could a Noob do it?

Thanks guys.

Its about $500
No I don't have it and I would never run that.
Sounds deep, drones like crazy you'll wanna kill yourself.
Any noob can install an exhaust as long as they have hands.

^^^ lol what do you mean a daul its a daul cansiter not a true daul. But they do make a single outlet too.

You can find used ones on s2ki.com for around 350-500

I dont own an invidia but I got my buddy club spec III for 480

The exhaust is mad easy to install aslong as the three bolts conecting the cat to the stock exhuast arent rusted to hell. But hey just get a testpipe with the exhaust of your choice and you wont need to worry about the 3 rusted bolts.

I dont know man theres not alot of options of good exhausts in that price range. But I do love my buddy club and I researched the **** out of it and to me it seemed like the best bang for my money.

But heres a crash course in exhausts for the s2k.

Singles make more power then dauls

70mm piping makes the most power but its hella loude

63mm is what everyone usually runs cause its decent power and dosent sound like a jet plane

You get what you pay for. Your not gona get huge gains. Its more bling then it is power.

But hey every hp counts.

Thanks for the info. I like the look of the daul better, so I think i'm going to go that route. I want something that sounds good but doesn't drive me crazy.

ITS DUAL

D U A L

DUAL, not DAUL. JESUS CHRIST.

Anyways, I'm running a Tanabe SH Medalion system and it sounds nice. Its DUAL and it doesn't drone real bad. It definatly sounds raunchy once you open it up though. I like it.

there is no "best" exhaust. its all relative on what you like and what your preferences are.

I bought an Invidia dual exhaust about a month ago, its absolutely AMAZING, looks awsome cause the muffler shop i had install it make it look like they were angled out and with the burnt tips.... oooo, but it has a nice deep tone and screams when you hit the vtec, i paid 570 shipped, don't instal it yourself pay a muffler shop 50$ to do it, get the exhaust you wont regret it (there is a single and a dual, get the dual)

Yeah pay someone $50 to do something that would take a trained monkey about an hour..........<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by MADBADGER &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> don't instal it yourself pay a muffler shop 50$ to do it </TD></TR></TABLE>

well if it was anything like my car i had to have the bolts on my old exhaust blow torched to get them off and the hangers had to be cut, took 45 minutes for them to do it, quicker than i think most people could with a car jack on cardboard floor

best advice on exhaust

everyone thinks the best is what they own or what they want to own because they wont pay for it.

There's this company called Dixie Spirit. They make exhausts out of Inconel. It glows red. :drools:

I just made my 3inch exahust system for mine with all mandral bends v-ban clamps o2 bunds and I made the hangers with a aero race muffler, still have to make a mid pipe but the down pipe and axel back is done. All for about 300 bucks for it to be done.

i had an invidia dual. Then I converted it to a single and my butt dyno liked it. But I got sick of the droning so i got a spoon n1 and I love it. Also I would never pay someone to do something as easy as changing the exhaust on my car. I used to be a mechanic...don't trust any shop unless you personally know the people working on your car.

HKS hi-power. I have no problem at all with drone, and its has a niec note. more expensive than most but the adage you get what you pay for rings true in my opinion.
