hey my friend just put a jdm single v-tec e motor into his SI...everytime you hit vtec it bogs and sometimes it will hit vtec...we tried the distrubuter the wiring is all hooked up right oil is good no engine light is comming on..please help thanks

 

it might be kicking in too soon... what rpm is vtec engaging?

 

figured it out..the line from fuel rail into the intake manifold was completely clogged...cleaned it up and works perfect now
