you dont need to use that just look at the little timing indicatiors...not sure what motor you have but there little notches...when you have them lined up thats TDC (top dead center) just take some white out and mark all the pulleys where they are then at that moment and just remove the serpentine belts via the tensioners and then the timing belt which im sure you already knew lol. Are you replacing the water pump??

What kind of car?

What's the "Moroso tool" look like, and exactly what it is intended to do/claims to help you do?

is this tool supposed to hold the crank pulley so u can break it loose? i would just use an impact wrench to loosen the pulley so you can adjust everything

I used a torque wrench to get the pully off or whatever or to loosen it rather... im marked the timing belt up top of the motor and down the bottom so i would know where the timing was so i didnt have to time it again ..

NEVER EVER use a torque wrench to break ANYTHING LOOSE!!!!!!!!! EVER!!! it ***** them up there used to tighten **** down to specific torque specs!!!

i had to use a torch and an impact gun to get my bolt loose,,,i dont recomend that unless your doing a complete rebuild though,,,after you get it out use anti seize before you put it back in

do you have access to an 1/2 in impact gun and compressor? that will take it off!! they usually max at 600ft/lb of torque!! if not just try rust=off or even brake fluid works great for me just dont get it in your eyes lol
