Very carefully...

You need a LOC (Line Out Converter). This taps into your speaker wires (usually rear) and converts them into RCA. Amp kit, etc still applies.

Ive used the NE-7V with good results.

There are a few things you can do.
What is the amp going to drive?
What is the make and model of the amp?
Are you going to use more then one amp?

Answer the above and I can give you the options available. 94

Yup! </TD></TR></TABLE>What if the amp has speaker level inputs, do you still need the LOC?
What if he is replacing all the speakers and adding amplification to them and subs, will a LOC still do the job properly?

Although a LOC, amp and amp kit may be all he needs, your only assuming it is. 94
