So when I did my swap on my EG i plugged up the vacumm line that goes to the secondary butterfly. I havea OBD1 P72 ECU was this a right move for my car or not? MY friends at shop took it off and said my car would run better without it because my car isnt wired up for Secondary Butterflies? Its a 95 EX Coupe and im using a GSR Motor with GSR Harness and ECU
Then it is wired for the IABs, as long as you have the black vaccum box, vaccum lines, and the IAB plug is plugged into the IAB solenoid, then they should work. The reason they say it will run better is because it might free up a little bit of midrange power, but they're there to give you more low end torque (from air passing through the longer set of runners).
