i just got my license and i will be getting my first car very soon but i need u guys to help me out. Im pretty poor so i cant afford real JDM stuff but replicas will have to do :]

so from your guys experience what is the best site to shop at for exterior things like replica shop made LIPS, mirrors, bumpers, headlights etc..
so give feedback on things like,
FITMENT
quality
durability
and so on

and don't be shy to post a negative feedback on a shop

My overall opinion on the subject would be don't skimp out man. If you can't afford all of the pieces that you want, save up some more and get them later on. Patience is definitely the key to modifying any car, unless you have a very successfull job, or you are just wealthy. As a poor college student, I have to save for a very long time to do any sort of modification to my car, but when I do a mod, I do it right. Sure you won't have as many parts as the next guy, but I can garuntee you, that a couple of nice quality parts, will look a whole lot better than a whole car full of knockoffs, witnessed it with my own eyes many a time. Weaksauce.org is a great website for parts, some of their stuff is knockoff, and it is okay, such as the foglights, but as far as lips, bumpers, mirrors, etc, you will not be happy unless it is the real product.
Good luck!

I couldnt agree with schpiel more. When I first started modding my Civic Coupe I was a senior in high school. Black housing headlights and CTR headlights looked no different to me, replica lips fit no differently then OEM ones. Then I started to get into detailing and started wanting perfection on everything. These parts looked cheap and fit like crap. I ended buying all OEM CTR/SIR exterior parts and never regret it. One of the few places that carried pretty much everything I wanted to order was ICBmotorsports and they have quick shipping to boot.

to all. except pw:jdm. try jhpusa, jdmland, hmotorsonline, inlinefour, n1concept. there is more im sure but these are the only ones i know of. i have heard nothing but bad from jdmcarboy, jdmshit, and ebay.
save your money and get oem quality stuff. its all worth it in the end. spend it right or spend it twice.

^^^ i agree with everyone up there.. just save up money and buy what you really want.. dont just settle for replica things..yea your car may look a little better with all those fake things but once you post a picture on honda-tech or where ever people will just flame you for all those fake parts.. as of shops i would go with what jdm_dc_199 said

i agree with all of u but i just gave him wat he asked for....i was in the same boat as he is to the point of justifying spending 500 dollars on ctr headlights wen the knockoffs give a great look for a fraction of the cost. listen man for now jus keep it simple with the replica stuff, books and classes are way more important right now until u get that job to where u can afford the REAL stuff

Just remember, when a car gets stolen it hurts a little more when you dont get full replacement cost of those REAL parts, most even a fraction.

If it's a car you plan to KEEP, and I mean retire with, send to shows, pass on to kids, etc - look type items - save and get the real thing.

If it's your daily, you know you will sell it, thrash it etc - get reps if you like how it looks.

you want quality on functional parts - safety equip, brakes, engine hard parts, etc.

REAL parts tend to get to be hard to sell later unless you find another hardcore that has money as well - and you still lose money most times. Look around - if you haven't noticed, most of HT are younger people without a lot of money cause for most things, Hondas are inexpensive to work with. There are a few exceptions.

These aren't Ferrari 250 GT California's we're talking about.
