Axle appears to be leaking even after new seal...
I have a b16 swapped 89 crx si that I recently purchased. I noticed a few days ago that fluid was dripping out of the area where the axle meets the tranny on the pass side. The prior owner had recently replaced the halfshafts but said he did not replace the axle seal, so I assumed that was the problem.
I replaced the seal tonight and refilled the tranny fluid and took it for a drive.
When I got back from the drive I looked under the car and it appears that it might still be leaking. Anything else that could cause this?
Oh, and I got an axle seal for a 99 civic SI if that matters. Figured all B series would be the same.

Crap how do I know what seal the halfshaft needs?
I do not know what the halfshaft came out of.

intermediate shaft with male ends on both sides = DA integra
intermediate shaft with male on tranny side and female on axle side = DC integra (hydro)

Show me how to do it without removing the transmission genius. He's talking about axle seals.
Another useless post from a useless member.

I would check to be sure the metal area on the outside of the seal did not get dinged or nicked. You might or might not be able to tell if the leak is coming from between the seal and the axle or the seal and the transmission.

You have it backwards. If both axles are male, DA integra, if the drive side axle is female, DC teg.
