Default Gauges

I just bought an integra and there is a lot of stuff wrong with it, but that's not the point lol, how much would it normally cost a mechanic to reconnect the gauges on the dash board? Right now the only thing that works on the dash board is the tach but the gas gauge and the speedometer don't work. any one have any quotes for me?

You are assuming that the problem is in the gauge cluster. You had better look at the wiring in that car closely to see if it was hacked. The average mechanic will want nothing to do with this job.

Rewiring is such a PITA.

Does the temp gauge not work as well?

The gauge cluster plugs in using 3 plugs (2 for the gauge assembly and 1 for the SRS system)

Any shop will charge you an arm and a leg just because they assume its a lot of work...but it might be an easy fix.

It's a simple job to take out gauge clusters, just a few screws. I'd say do it yourself and plug them back in, it's hard to mess up plugging up a cluster. If the speedometer doesn't work after that check your speed sensor.
