does anybody want to plan a group trip to they yard?

 

maybe if they have one of them days where you can take what you can carry for $30 or if they allow people in the yard to take off there own parts. other than that most yards by me, the people are dicks you cant go in the yard and there mean as ****, and high priced.

 

Last time I went there everything they had was basically raped of all of the good parts.

 

tru, but you go to the yard for replacement parts and parts w/ unrecognized potential. Besides, vnt says its good so I'll give it a try

Group day im there ive got a pickup... woohooo

 

I'm talking about those flatbed carts... like the one they have for lumber but had at costco back in the days when it was price club. Man, i could fit a full motor/tranny on there no problem. Hell, if I had a dog team I could probably take a whole cx hatch. okok, maybe a bit of exageration there. I was planning on going today (friday) but I have to make a last minute trip out of state so maybe monday? The weekend would be fine too I suppose.

 

They have certain days that they get fresh cars and also there's some certain days that the lot gets full of cars that they have to strip em' clean, crush and out the lot in order for the new ones to come in.

I went there like 3 months ago and there was nada. bsides I think the motors are over priced!

Their motor prices ARE a little high but if you're looking for obscure stock stuff like wiring, brackets, nuts and bolts, weatherstripping, whatever they usually have what you need.

well ****, the whole point of rolling up to a junkyard is so I can spend my sweat to save a little $$. I guess I won't end up going until I fry some hard to find harness... unless of course they want to host something along the lines of rip it out yourself and drop us some change type of deal
