Where are junkyards in MD/VA/DC?
can't find the old threads anywhere.... directions would really help, or an address.
looking for a place where i can go in and take parts from the cars myself...

Bowie, Maryland....
50East to Rt.197Exit (Collington Rd Exit) take it towards UpperMarlboro, at Rt.301 make a Right, Proceed about 3.5 Miles Untill You See "WAWA" Gas Station on Left...make that left and proceed North On 301, Central Small Car will be on ur Right 1/4 mile down!
if u get lost call them @ 301-249-3200
later..

maybe if they have one of them days where you can take what you can carry for $30 or if they allow people in the yard to take off there own parts. other than that most yards by me, the people are dicks you cant go in the yard and there mean as ****, and high priced.

tru, but you go to the yard for replacement parts and parts w/ unrecognized potential. Besides, vnt says its good so I'll give it a try

They have certain days that they get fresh cars and also there's some certain days that the lot gets full of cars that they have to strip em' clean, crush and out the lot in order for the new ones to come in.
I went there like 3 months ago and there was nada. bsides I think the motors are over priced!

Their motor prices ARE a little high but if you're looking for obscure stock stuff like wiring, brackets, nuts and bolts, weatherstripping, whatever they usually have what you need.
Tell them Mike, the dude from DC with the red hybrid hatch says hi!

well ****, the whole point of rolling up to a junkyard is so I can spend my sweat to save a little $$. I guess I won't end up going until I fry some hard to find harness... unless of course they want to host something along the lines of rip it out yourself and drop us some change type of deal
