Default 92 LX Civic CEL plug?

Hello. I read the FAQ on how to check for codes on your 92-95 Civic. I am looking at my ecu and I even removed it from underneath the dash and there is no little grey plug. I have searched all over the place underneath there and there is no grey plug. The only little plug I have seen underneath there is a brown plug and it has a blue/white wire and a black/red wire coming out of it and it's attached to a larger grey plug. Other than that I don't see any other plugs. Can anyone help me find this plug?

OK, I am a douche once again. I found the plug but only because it was hidden in a green rubber shroud with another plug next to it. The thing is is I thought that my CEL bulb was removed or burnt out. Come to find that the bulb was there and was fine. Problem is is now I have no way of checking if I have codes. Is there any other way I can check them? Can't I just buy an LED with resistor inline or something? I'm all out of ideas. Someone told me that it's very low voltage and the only thing I can think of that would support a low voltage application would be an LED. If so, what exactly do you think I might need to buy?
