Default GSR SWAP

RUN INTO A LITTLE PROBLEM OVER THE WEEKEND, WHILE PUTTING MY NEW GSR SWAP (B17) INTO MY 88 CRX SI.
THE ALTERNATOR PULLEY IS RUBBING ON THE FIREWALL, WHEN THE FRONT END IS FLEXING, LIKE GOING OVER SPEED BUMP. I BEAT IT IN LIKE YOUR SUPPOSE TO, BUT I GUESS ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. SO IM ASKING IS THERE ANYWAY TO TO BEAT THAT IN SOMEMORE WITH OUT PULLING THE MOTOR BACK OUT AGAIN
THANKS

No, we do not beat on our b series. For you expect it to be rebuild in 6 months. As for the dent for the alternator clearance obtain a small sledge. Remove alternator and bracket and intake manifold and have a cheater pipe with the sledge hammer with both hands and bang the thing down to a perfect bash . This WILL be a perfect alternator clearance. Trust me this was done by me. As for other they have there long ways.

Just pull the motor back out. Its not like thats hard. You can be a lot more accurate and comfortable swinging a hammer without it in there.

You can trust what he says too, he's so good at hondas he's had 5 different locations in his info in the last 10 days. Why would it need to be rebuilt? you are better then no one. stop ruining our forum.

Take it out and clear it more, sometimes applying light heat helps the metal be more malleable.
