need advice on what to do to my b18c1 block
i recently picked up a gsr block with just the crank. i currently have a second gen jdm b16 in my ej2. im going to use my b16 head still. i want to make around 200 all motor and i do plan to spray. i was thinking i should just get forged rods and pistons and putting type r valve train and cams in my b16 head. my question is what compression should i get since i have a b16 and plan on spraying between a 75-100 shoot of wet. i also plan to do i miled port and polish to the head and port the intake mani and the throttle body. i would like to know what i should do and if any one has a similar set up or know of any and the power it made and track times. (just all motor) thanks
ps let me know if i should get anything else besides type r valve train and cams; or should that be just fine?

if ur gonna build the gsr i would ditch the spray idea and just go high comp with a good set of cams.
but if u wanna go spray (cheater juice lol) than i would use around an 11.0:1 or an 11.5:1 comp ratio just to keep it nice and safe.

What you should do is look up people who have actually achieved 200 whp on here and see what they had to do to get there. Once you do that you'll quickly realise that stock type r cams aren't going to get you there and it's not a simple task. I have a decent build for a 1.8 but I will need an SMSP header, better cat-back, head porting, better tune and maybe a bpi velocity stack to hit those numbers at the wheels without spray (and I do spray). Searching will give you the answers you want.
See my sig below. That is one of the best build I have ever seen on this board.

no need for forged pistons and rods for a 200 horsepower motor. just run stock internals you can achive 250 horsepower with nitrous. i made 254 on a stock ls-vtec.
