Default TEIN Pillowball Upper Mount Install Question

Have a 98 Integra Type R.
Bought the PRH08-31S70 (front & rear) Tein Upper Mounts.
I have a set of Koni shocks and coilovers (H&R springs 1000.250.0700).
The inner diminsion of the H&R spring is smaller than the Tein Mount (the little cup where the spring sets in). As a result the spring will not rest against the top of the Tein Mount.
Note: the Tein Mount is for a spring ID=70mm (about 2 3/4").
Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on a fix?
Thanks
