Default rear strut bar question on AP1

i kno theres a stock one on there to begin with that doesnt mount on to the shock towers

can you guy show me which brand that does mount to the shock tower and the one that doesnt. i checked the websites that sells them they usually have a universal type of picture that doesnt indicate where its mounted

was it the j's racing the only one that mounts on the shock tower?

Waste of money.

Don't think there are any that mount to the rear strut towers. 1. You'd have to take your spare tire out. 2. you'd have clearance issue with the fuel tube.

I agree, any flex that would be countered by having it on the strut towers would also be countered with the stock STB in the stock location.

I haven't seen any aftermarket ones that can fit back there, and I don't imagine there are any. It's pretty tight back there, as papa5murf said with the spare tire and the fuel components.

Yeah yeah

However, shock and strut are used pretty interchangeably now. Most not in the correct way, but they've been so overused that the original meanings don't really apply anymore for standard passenger cars.

For trucks, that's another matter.
