H22 aftermarket Timing Belt Auto Tensioner ?? Toda?? Anyone?
When I say aftermarket, I mean Toda, Mugen, GReddy, etc!?
I know Toda makes one for thre K series, but does anybody make one for the H series?
Thanks,
Joe
P.S. Yeah I know H23 Conversion.... thanks but this H22 is 1. bone stock, and 2. in a Del Sol, so it's a bit tight to be in there working on it like that, or believe me I would.)

1) It doesn't matter if it's full blown built or bone stock, the manual tensioner is more reliable.
2) You're going to have to remove the engine mount and lower the motor anyways. Might as well do it right the first time, than to blow an auto tensioner down the line and replace the whole motor.

Are they really that bad?
I mean this one has 100,000km on it, (60,000-ish miles) and it's just now starting to the rattle on decel. If I just replace it, can't I expect the new one to last just about as long?
does anybody have a link to where I can buy a GReddy one?

The Auto tensioners have been known to cause catastrophic damage before...
I would do the Manual and a new belt while youre at it and toss a new water pump in there too.
