Default Re: forged rods and oem pistons (bzyq2001)

you will have to have your oem piston machined for the wristpin clip- (forget what the damn thing is called). there are a few people on this board that do it.
To my understanding there arent any press fit forged d-series rods available currently.

My first question: why do you want forged rods with oem pistons?

You arent going to be making power above 8k with stock pistons so the stock rods with arp bolts will be fine up to 8k. and if you have your d16 rods shotpeened they will stand up to all the na-d power you can throw at it.
