I don't recall any graphs posted from Pro1 dyno's. You're better off checking the All Motor forum.

I can tell you from personal experience that the Skunk2 STAGE1's(not Pro1's) will generate 12-14whp from 3500-8000rpms with an upgraded valvetrain.
I don't have a graph comparing stock to s2s1 though.....
The power is there and much worth the $4-600....

Wrong. Skunk2 Stage 1 and Skunk2 Pro 1 cams are completely different.

Completely? I mean, theyre still cams right?
Either way though.....if the S2S1's made 12-14whp, Im sure(& hope) the S2P1's will do the same or better. My understanding was the Pro1 was in between the Stage 1 and Stage 2, and the Pro2 was just more agressive than the Stage2.....
All these stages and such.......JUN made one cam and it rocked......better than anything Skunk made until the release of the Pro3.
Yes....again....JUNs FTW!

The above graph was tuned with a hondata s100 and P28.
I have made 196whp/160tq tuning with nothing more than a vafc and chipped P13.

"!=" means "≠"

So that was me saying that this crap about S2S1s is (as usual since this isn't the first time) largely irrelevant.

I wouldnt say largely irrelevant....S2S1 #'s can't be far off Pro1's.....even anything its a benchmark to compare Pro1's to.

what other setup would u recomend with stock valve train and wanting to keeping the revs down to the stock revlimiter? U can never have to much compression for a cam

Let me know when your going to dyno. What are you tuning the car with Hondata or you still using the VAFC?

I guess I would have to ask why you would be using a stock valvetrain and rev limiter with a 11.6:1cr setup and tuning with only a VAFC?
What is done to the shortblock?
Are you follow some sort of "rulebook" for racing?---just curious.

I'll let this guy answer this. He just doesn't think "inside" the rules.

You have no graph but you say they did that much? ehh...

Missing Gears said they did him little good, maybe a pinch up top, and I've learned to trust a lot of what that guy says over time. He's been there, done that.

yeah my rule book is keep it as stock as possible on my DAILY beater, the bottom end is 100% stock, why only a VAFC u ask, had one laying around at my shop, besides whats wrong with a VAFC with a slightly moded motor? I've been tuning with VAFC's from day one and have had great luck with them. B series have always been my prefference since 1995 and I always kept the OEM internals to make amazing power on an average of 191-200 whp and yes with a VAFC and I do mean all OEM parts and at a farless cost than most other tuners. But I am new to the H series and I believe the same theory as I did for the b series, so I am still researching and developing the H series. I will tell u guys one thing though MD23vtec is the man when it comes to H series

How did you get it up to 11.6:1? TypeS pistons, shaved head, decked block?

Thats correct.....
Im going to have to get my Dyno file from the shop....I am so sick of having to prove things here.....
Below is my old setup. We sacrificed a little top end for a little mid range.
195.63whp/159.72tq & 193.68whp/159.23tq
Below that is a bone stock H22A1 on the same dyno.
152.81whp/135.83tq & 155.39whp/139.20tq
Sorry for the bad pics, I don't have a scanner.
I'm all for the VAFC too but I just couldn't get the car running smoothly with it on my new setup so I went with Hondata.

Do you think S2Stage1 cams don't do that?
Why this reply in another thread?
