easiest an safest way to tint off a car?
I called a local tint place and they made the mistake of telling me to "allow time for the steaming process" when I was going to drop my car off for new tint. That gave us an idea. (They wanted $50 to remove the old, bubbly, purple tint.
)
This is what we used:
1) household iron with steam
2) friend willing to peel tint
3) spray bottle with water
4) wet rag or paper towel (I used a paper towel.)
5) WD-40
6) razor blade
Put the wet paper towel on the outside of the glass, put the iron on the paper towel, start at a corner, get tint started peeling with razor blade, move iron slowly, peel tint from area directly behind iron. It should all come off in one sheet, if not, you're doing it wrong. Just remember to keep the iron over the area that's peeling and keep the glass and paper towel wet with the spray bottle. A lot of the glue will come off with the tint. Anything that's left over can be removed with WD-40 and a razor blade. Goo Gone did nothing for me. Be careful not to touch your rubber moldings/trim with the iron.

I have heard that if you live in a warm area you can take black plastic trash bags and line the inside of the windows which will trap the heat and get the tint to start to peel. Then you just sort of peel it off. Use a combination of ammonia and water 50/50 to remove any leftover adhesive.
Ive used that stuff you can buy from autozone and any auto part store.. its a spray that helps the tint come off... That and a razor blade worked good for me.. you can even use a blow dryer to help it start peeling
a heat gun or a steamer !!! I just did this last week on my coupe and with the steamer it came off like a BREZZZEEEE , (but it broke on me ) so i pulled out my trusty Heat GUN , took a bit longer but it worked !!!!!!!!!
