so i have a 92 cx hatch with a 98 type r swap. i had problems in the past with having a moroso oil pan it created a small leak but on sunday i replaced it for the fourth time and i thought i fixed it but today im coming home and i get on the car in first, second, and put it in third. i let of in third and all of a sudden the car stutters for a second and just dies completly. the rpms drop to zero and the CEL comes on and battery light comes on. try to turn the car back on but it wont start. if any one has any idea or knows what happend... let me know. if u guys need any more info let me know. thanks
could be a number of things, basically what you just describe was, u basically poped the clutch w/o going anywhere and your car stalled. Check the plugs, pull em and see how they look, check and make sure your getting fire and spark, check your gears make sure everything is in time then come back and post on here your findings.

okay so after looking at the car in day light i pulled the plugs out and everything only to find out that the fuse for the ecu was melted so i put another one in... and started right up... but now i got on the car as i was leaving and the car died again... put another one in but a 20 instead of the 15... what can cause the fuse for the ecu to go so quick?
a short in a wire or a bad ground or a bad relay. i wouldnt keep replacing fuses like that. when the fuse blows it blows for a reason. trace the wires make sure nothing is krimped or cut. make sure all of ur grounds are good and secure.
