my trunk light always says it's open even when it's closed and my alarm keeps going off and also the trunk light is killing my battery. I know that the trunk isnt the original one cuz I took off the spoiler to fix the light in it and the wires werent run into the trunk cuz there wasnt a hole in the trunk for it. also there is a blue/white wire and a white/grey wire set not hooked up in the trunk, anyone know what those are, I looked at wiring diagrams and couldnt find them. If anyone could help thatd be great.

 

i have a 92 lude and those wires you are wondering about, those should be the trunk light wires, as they are on mine. check the switch that lets the computer know when the trunk is open, could be that its to far ion and the trunk isn't pushing it far enough, good luck
