Default Nippon Pr3 Pistons

Hi, I am doing an LS Vtec on my integra and was gathering up parts and ran accross Nippon Racing Perfomance Pistons with gaskets and everything I would need.

I Was wondering if this is a good kit, and also if anyone had used it. I have searched but it seems to confuse me. Thanks for the help

o ok, also did you change out the rod bearings too? I was thinking of just running it without changing the rod bearings because I dont want to send the block out to the shop. my motor has around 94k miles on it and it is in really good condition

You should really get new bearings, it's cheap insurance.

then thats your call. as mentioned above changing it is cheap insurance. why would u have to send the crank outif u so claim its in good shape. if so then just slap on the bearings and torque it all down and go. anyway i just don't understand ur logic. u want to build a motor but u don't want to pay a lil extra to keep in it good condition or spin a rod bearing and what not. if u gonna build a nice lsvtec its not gonan hurt to change those out and polishing your crank is not even expensive. u got the advice u need. its up to u what u want to do with your motor. if your motor takes a dive and its something that u didn't want to change out for cheap insurance thats your bad. in anycase, u just gonna slap the pistons on without honing? without decking your block ? did u check these 2 to see if it needs it?
