LS Motor build
I was just asking around to see if anyone has a LS motor that has work done, i want to know what can i do other that the intake/headers/exhaust because i got that covered, is it worth it to do head work or change the pistons? And i dont see any boosting in the near future, any help will be put to good use, thanks.
Check out the "Official B18 All Motor Non-Vtec thread". It might be on page 2. I'm hoping for 190whp once I up compression to 11:1 with P30 Pistons...but I might need to upgrade to race-grade I/E/H.
an LS block build is similar to any other B-series VTEC build as far as compression choices. There are several brands you can choose from for the LS valvetrain also. Camshafts, there are several companies still making good street and race cams for this engine.
the LS has lots of potential. mild LS build with pistons, headwork and cams can get you into the 180s easily.
