Where'd you get the motor from? Most importers remove the knock sensor from the motor and ship it separately so it doesn't break during shipping and handling. Contact whoever you got the motor from and ask them what's the deal.

Hmmm that's interesting. I got the same motor 2 months ago, JDM B18C, from HMO, and it came with the knock sensor already mounted on. I guess they do each thing different.

Talk to Steve from HMO, he'll get it right for you. I got the integra DA rear bracket from HMO with my motor, but I didn't get any of the hardware/bolts to mount it to the back of the tranny. Called Steve, and it's being shipped priority mail as we speak.

I don't expect these guys to be perfect, but if anything the customer service is great when it comes to resolving problems.

It's not missing, it's broken. Check the wiring harness, maybe the remains will be in the clip (more then likely).

I find knock sensors are super easy to break. I've broken 3-4 before I started to really pay attention when working with them. Luckily I've found a few of them in junk yards.

Get your ECU chipped and get rid of it.

Why? A P28 will not operate the IAB.

As ludesrv said, the sensor is there just broken.
