so im driving my car in the morning.it starts up fine.drive it bout 5 miles.get home.go to my car again about ten minutes later.it starts up, but the CEL light is on and the D4 light is blinking.the car grabs every gear fine,but when in drive it feels like the ebrake is on.i got under the hood and moved some of the sensors on the tranny, turned off the car, and left it alone for a lil bit.a few minutes later,i turned the car on and the lights were no longer on and the car drove like a champ.i actually drive the car cross the state(bout 500 miles or so). what the hell could have been wrong with it.no probs after that??

 

If the d4 light was blinking it was probably a bad tcm or solenoid.

 

Take it to AZ and see if there is a code or pull the codes yourself. Keep an eye for erratic speedo operation next time too.
