My R is finally back on the road! *lots of pictures and captions*
About almost a month and a half ago I wrecked my R because some fat lady cut me off from an intersection when I was going straight (with right of way), you can refer to post here for the accident pictures: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2066369. With the finalization of 100% being not my fault in the accident, my insurance issued me a check for the repair. What I had in mind was that I can't really trust any of the insurance referred body shop if I was going to go back to a JDM Front End. Therefore, I pursued one of my close friend who knew alot about body/machanics/jdm.
To make the story short, after we finally got the hood off, we found out that my car had very bad frame damage on both front side of the chassis, total lost front end, including all A/C lines were ripped in pieces, and the whole P/S assembly was a goner. She was for sure a total, but my insurance inspector was very generous and kept my car's clean title, and considered her to be only damaged but repairable

Thanks to R-Crew in South San Francisco, I picked up a clean HID JDM front for a good price with multiple hoods, fenders, grill, radiator supports, headlights, and bumpers to choose from.

To be lucky enough, my friend's uncle worked at Acura as a frame specialist and also a body shop owner, I had my frame pulled almost 99.9% back to OEM shape. After painting the frontend at the body shop, we move my R back to my friend's house to put everything together.
If you read my accident post before, what caused this catastrophic damage to my R was because the small reinforcement bar that comes with the JDM Front End
; therefore, thanks to DC4Kid's pointers , I was able to put in a USDM reinforcement bar on to the JDM Front

Then we had a little break before buffing out the car

We had a little trouble with the clearance to fit the waterbottle in for the windshield wiper due to the size of the oem hid ballast, if anyone knows how to custom it in anyway, please pm me

on my way bringing my baby home:

Finally brought her home to have her cleaned up a little. SIMPLE GREEN FTW

Rewarded my self with some goodies:

sorry for the crappy phone pictures, I will take some good shots of the car when I have the rims in. Thanks for everyone who supported me when I had my accident, greatly appreicated it. A lot of people said the drive would be way different because I had frame damage, but the car feels better than ever, plus..I didnt put the A/C back in
big thanks to G-Blocc

The JDM windshield wiper fluid bottle will correct your problem. The opening of the bottle sits flush with the hole under the driver side hid ballast. Just remember to keep the top somewhat off. I find mine somewhat hard to get to.
Here is a pic for ref. Hard to see but I tried

Congrats man, that's pretty impressive to bring that back to life after all that damage and make it look that good, love the new parts too
