My Del sol 56k kilr!
these are my pics of the car (on my wife's cam anyway) and you can see some progress. I didnt like the euros, so i painted them, and ended up buying a new hood, and kept the old one to experiment with the $50.00 paint job on. Comments are appreciated!

those were taken the eve/night we got the car, its just kind of a WIP thread, its not done by any means... Again, looking for direction with the car, and showing whats there... ****.

Whats up dude, glad to see another SOL'er in here. You definately have alot of work to go with it, but you should stop by the del sol thread and get an idea of what you can do to the car, good luck man
on a budget for now, babies will do that to you, and I have a right stock tail, but the fu#@er at the pull yard broke the left. those are to do until i find one for less than like 80.00. hell, at least they match! Im looking for a quick daily driver that flows. Im not into big body kits or wings, or even little kits for that matter.

the car as is was bought for 500.00, with a motor that had spun bearings, now awaiting a crank. The body panels I can work on, but how do i get the hood to line up right with the front bumper? Its just a freakin pain.
Get the tails from a fellow member for $50 shipped. Stock flows best. Start from stock and go from there. Yellow acc lights? Please say no to any yellow lights.

What does the blue have to do with it? OEM tails, panels aligned, a good set of rims and that same blue freshly painted would look super clean.

alright, since Ive been looking around, so give me an opinion on this.
Since I'd be recoating anyways (and painting a hood) I would probably just do a color change (jams, bay, etc. but what color?
I need a stock tail light. left side.
I think the header would look good powder coated black. What do you suggest be done with the valve cover?
The intake is a place holder, I think Im going to fab an 'AEM' True cold air intake.
The wires need to be tucked.
The car needs to run, So I can wash/vacuum it.
The rims are just bad. I didnt think they were so bad, but as popular opinion states, they reek.
