so attempted to finish a h22 swap on a 92 civic hatch, and the motor is in, conversion harness is put on, everything is fine, but the motor turns over and wont fire up. there was a weird buzzing noise coming from the main harness relay so i ordered a new one, plugged it in, and it made the same noise. the motor has spark since it pops with starting fluid, and it cant be the fuel pump because theres a brand new one in there. i am so confused on what is going on. any help with this would help guys.

 

is the fuel pump priming when you turn the key to the "power" position but not start?

 

well only when you bypass the relay. otherwise when you leave the relay in it doesnt prime, but when you run a wire from the relay socket it primes but doesnt shut off. we tested another fuel pump also and it did the same thing.
