i can get a 00' si motor, i was wondering what it takes to get it in if i were to get a cable tranny, is there anything different in the wiring? or what? what does it take?

also if i were to go w/ the b16a1, how hard are parts such as dist., alternator starter, and those parts to find? what cars do i get them from?

i need help i have to decide quickly, thanks in advance

 

It is possible to put an OBD II in your car.
But whit a lot of work,since your car is pre-OBD and the fact that the B16A2 come with a hydro clutch.

As fot the B16 1 gen,I got one in my car.It needs some work,but it's not that hard.
You'll need axle,motor mount,ad 5 wires,modified your shift link.

The only thing that is not avalaible her for a 1 gen B16,it's the distributor.
But,you can put a '90-91 Teg without problem,except that you will have to cut one leg.The one right next to the vtec solenoid.
Maybe the cable trans too.Since,I'm not shure what part coulb be swapped in if it need a rebuilt.
You could take a '92-93 Teg casing and put a Type_r or SIR internal,if you want.

As for any other parts,the engine is the same as the one that cam from the Delslo and the 99-00 SI.
The starter and the alternator come from TEG 90-91,so does the clutch.
The injector is the same peak and hold from the Si CRX or the Teg 90-91.
