i seen this car for sale it says it is a 1996 civic si and it is a green coupe... i know what you are thinking ... i am an idiot but i carfaxed it and sure enough it is a 1996 si coupe. from what i have always known si was only 99-00

it has dohc vtec stickers i think.. looks like them.. but the front end looks like 96-98

usa si has EM1

 

Unless the owner swapped engines, it should come with a D16Y8 stock. The vin says EJ8, so its definitely a US EX/CAD Si. In Canada, the US Si = SiR. Canada uses the same vins as so a Canadian SiR will have EM1 in the vin.

 

That VIN comes up invalid in american honda's database
